Hi, I’m Shahzad, a qualified educator and experienced Senior Design Manager specialising in Science, Architecture, Autodesk Revit and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) and have previous classroom teaching experience at both primary and secondary school level, including Sinfin Secondary School and Dale Primary School in Derby.
Science Tutoring (KS2, KS3 & GCSE)
I offer engaging, structured lessons covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics, supporting students with subject knowledge, homework, revision and exam preparation. Lessons can be tailored to AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications, including Combined and Triple Science.
Architecture, Revit & BIM Tutoring
Alongside teaching, I work professionally as a Senior Design Manager within the construction industry. I provide practical tutoring in architectural design, technical drawing, construction detailing, Autodesk Revit, 3D modelling, BIM principles and ISO 19650 information management.
Whether you’re a beginner learning Revit, an architecture student developing technical skills, or a professional looking to improve your BIM knowledge, lessons are adapted to your individual goals.
My Teaching Approach
My lessons typically last 60 minutes and are available online or face-to-face in Derby.
I use clear explanations, practical demonstrations, guided exercises, visual resources and regular feedback to help students develop confidence and independence.
For GCSE students, I incorporate exam-style questions and targeted revision. For architecture and Revit students, I focus on practical, real-world applications.
My aim is to make learning accessible, enjoyable and relevant, helping every student develop skills they can confidently apply.
