I'm a qualified Mathematics teacher with over eight years of experience teaching students aged 9–18, from KS2 through to A-Level, in both UK secondary schools and British curriculum schools in Dubai. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and I've taught Mathematics, Further Mathematics and IT across a wide range of abilities. My goal has always been to help students do more than improve their grades—I want them to understand maths, enjoy learning it, and gain the confidence to succeed independently.

Every lesson is carefully tailored to the individual student. I begin by identifying their strengths, understanding where they need support, and creating a clear plan based on their goals. Whether they need help catching up on missed topics, preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, or simply building confidence, lessons are designed to make steady, measurable progress.

I regularly check understanding throughout each lesson, allowing me to adapt my teaching in real time so students never feel left behind or overwhelmed.

I've taught students across the full ability range, from those who need extra patience and encouragement to those aiming for the highest GCSE and A-Level grades. In my most recent teaching role, my students achieved a 90% pass rate in KS5 examinations, and I've consistently seen excellent improvements in both confidence and academic performance through personalised, engaging lessons. I also established and ran a successful after-school Maths Club, increasing participation by 40% over two years and helping students develop a genuine enthusiasm for the subject beyond the classroom.
