My sessions are based around one thing: having fun. If you aren't enjoying the way you train, then what's the point of training in the first place? I want to make the gym feel like less of a chore and have you leaving stronger, more confident, and more energised — not wiped out and dreading the next one.
In practice that means sessions are interactive and personal, not a one-way stream of instructions from me while you silently suffer through it. We work through your programme together, at your pace, and I take the time to explain the reasoning behind what we're doing rather than just putting you through the motions.
Every client is different, so I try my absolute hardest to find the approach that works for you — where you're at physically, what you find difficult, and what actually motivates you. I pay close attention to how you're responding and adjust accordingly, because good coaching is really just good listening.
Beyond the physical side, I also weave in elements of confidence, focus and sustainable habits. The mental side of training is something that rarely gets coached properly, yet it so often makes the largest difference to your results. You'd be surprised what showing up to a session feeling good about yourself can do for your progress.
I am currently on the final stretch of a two year personal training qualification and have spent significant time beyond my formal studies exploring how people build the mindset they need to reach the goals they feel they deserve.
Feel free to drop me a message even if you're on the fence about booking :)
