My lessons are fun, interactive and tailored to each student. I focus on getting students actively using Spanish as much as possible, with plenty of conversation and opportunities to build confidence and improve their spoken language.

A typical lesson might begin with a recap of our week in Spanish, helping us warm up and get speaking from the start. We might then look at a particular grammar point - either something you have told me you would like to work on, or something I have noticed you find challenging. We can then practise that skill through a conversation, quiz or game, before finishing with a final conversation to consolidate what we have learned and build confidence.

I adapt lessons to the student's interests, level and goals, and I'm happy to incorporate games and interactive activities where appropriate, particularly with younger learners. I also believe that communication is key, so I regularly check that we're working towards what the student actually wants to achieve.

I'm happy to set optional homework and additional practice, as I understand that one of the best ways to learn a language is through little and often. I have a wide range of resources that I can recommend or provide to help students practise Spanish between lessons.
