I regularly use w3schools as a beginning resource to access basic CS concepts and search for more trivial syntaxes. When it comes to web development, I like to show a LAMP stack (Laravel Apache MySql and PHP) for this is the way I most prefer to set up websites, but am open to others. In most instances, students want to work on homework assignments with me and the structure of the lesson usually is set around understanding these problems presented. I also like using drawing tools for visualizing graphs since this can be helpful in explaining data structures (pictures over word). Then I apply the math to the picture (especially since graph theory is quite verbose for math since the symbols are designed to describe pictures). I have learned all sorts of pedagogical techniques through the years and worked with students with dyslexia/ADHD, modifying my teaching methods to accommodate students in these situations. It is helpful when students send homework or study materials ahead of time because I can better plan the lesson around the situation, but have handled a number of situations where there is no such advanced information. I am extremely patient and never lose my cool because I understand how frustrating CS can be. There's a steep learning curve but once my students get past it, there is a whole world of opportunities available.
