I have 6 years experience working around the world. I began my career focusing on general English and helping students prepare for exams such as TOEFL, IELTS etc. After 2 years I began working more and more with Business English, specifically tech companies which require English for their meetings and negotiations. As of right now I am happy to say that I can teach any student no matter their need. I am confident of my ability to prepare and teach lessons for students of all needs and levels.

My lessons are all planned and designed for each student in mind. During these lessons the focus is on assessing the students comprehension and where their weaknesses are. When weaknesses are found, they are then noted and worked on passively with some further practice outside of class hours so that the student can make the most of their lesson time. If students have particular goals in mind then we continuously work on these. Generally the format of my lesson involves an introduction (where we set the context), a small discussion where the student can share their ideas, some form of exercise that gives the student time to work individually or as a group to further expand their English and ability to communicate, some exercises that work specifcally on any weaknesses and finally an open activity that gives the students the space for them to use what they practised and to use it for themselves personally.

I priotise speaking for all students and expect all my students to participate. If student's have difficulty speaking aloud then we work on their confidence and slowly work up to being able to speak independently.

Finally all my students are provided with resources where they can practice their English whenever they want and are given frequent directions as to what they should be practising and how.
