I have dedicated over 7 years working with students of all ages and ability in the North-East. I offer private 1-2-1 and group classes for all ages from 5+ as well as visit a number of different schools teaching junior/senior students from Year 3 - Year 11. I assist students to achieve quality results for graded drum exams and Music GCSE as well as help organise school performance/recital evenings for my students.
I also provide extra curricular musical activities such as group Djembe classes. I have worked with a number of local youth groups to provide fun and exciting drum circles sessions, typically during the summer holidays.

My goal is to educate, inspire students in their drumming, teaching them the importance of sight reading, developing technical ability and aural skills, as well as general musicianship knowledge.

I am a Level 3 Trinity College London Grade 8 drummer who has a fully enhanced DBS check and all relevant safeguarding training for adults and young people.

I have enjoyed listening and playing to music from an early age. I began my drumming journey at the age of 11 (over 20yrs+) in Longbenton Community College, where I studied with some of the best Drum Teachers in the area. My first opportunity to perform was in the school orchestra, playing in school theatre projects, and helping organise the school's talent show "Longbenton Rocks". My teachers saw great potential in me, and on one occasion even offered me a position in the teachers band.

Once I fully built my foundation in school, I went on to play in a couple of local bands such as ID Me, The Heavy Jets and The Voluntears. During that time i got a taste for creating my own music with others, recording my bands EP's in local recording studios such as Loft & Broadwater Studios. The EP recorded in Broadwater, was a prize after winning the local Soundwave Music Competition in 2015 with The Heavy Jets.

During my time with The Voluntears, I toured all around the UK, including Manchester, London, Glasgow, Liverpool, and supported many big artists such as Ocean Colour Scene, Dodgy, Pete Doherty, Gabrielle, James, Peter Hook (Joy Division), John Power (Cast), and White Lies. This allowed me to gain a decent amount of knowledge & experience in the music and touring industry.

I now play in a local covers band called "The Inmates" and a tribute band for ZZ top called "The Eliminators" playing pubs/clubs/festivals all across the UK, as well as perform with a non-profit organisation as a side drummer in the "North Tyneside Pipe Band", performing in cities all across the North East.
