In my lessons, I strive to create a friendly and encouraging space where students feel confident to explore and learn at their own pace. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning preferences, so I can tailor my teaching to suit them best. Whether we’re tackling tricky Maths problems or improving reading and writing skills, I focus on making lessons clear, practical, and enjoyable.

I use a mix of hands-on activities, visual aids, and real-life examples to keep lessons engaging and relatable. I believe learning is most effective when it’s interactive, so I encourage questions and regular discussion to help students really grasp the concepts. We work through exercises together, then apply the skills independently, with plenty of feedback along the way to reinforce understanding and track progress.

Having supported both primary and secondary students, including those with additional needs, I’m experienced at adapting lessons to match each learner’s unique pace and style. My goal is not just to help students pass exams like SATs or GCSEs, but to build lasting confidence and a genuine understanding of the material. I also emphasize study skills and exam techniques to prepare students for success beyond the classroom, while fostering a positive attitude toward learning and self-improvement.

Ultimately, I want every student I work with to feel supported and motivated, knowing they can achieve their goals through steady progress and practice. I’m here to guide, encourage, and celebrate their growth every step of the way. In addition to intellectual and academic development, the holistic development of every pupil is what I strive to improve.
