I have been tutoring in maths biology and physics for 4 years, I am happy to tutor up to GCSE level for maths and physics, for biology I can go up to A level. My teaching methods depend on the student, if a student has specific questions or areas that they want to focus on I can either create a worksheet to do together as we go through the lesson or they can bring specific questions from their homework or revision that they need help with. If a student feels like they don't know where to start we can run through their syllabus together and find areas that need improvement. For maths I would bring specific equations or questions to work through as I find for this subject the best method of learning is solving the questions slowly step by step, explaining each process in detail for the best understanding. For Biology and Physics, I find that going through old exam papers on the board of either AQA or Edexcel, depending on which they are taking, and spending more time on theory, especially looking at the mark schemes will usually work best.
