I am in my second year of teaching officially however I have been to a variety of different schools across England and completed my degree in Oxford.
I have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and the content of the curriculum. I understand the expectations for each year group and can support children with any subject and topic they would like my support with!

I am in my second year of teaching officially however I have been to a variety of different schools across England and completed my degree in Oxford.
I have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and the content of the curriculum. I understand the expectations for each year group and can support children with any subject and topic they would like my support with!
What a session with me will look like:
So I always start each session with a quick review to discuss what the child already knows and allow them to show off what they already know. We will then talk about what they find difficult and what they would like my support with. Outline the aims of the session and then move on to teaching. The session will end with a quick reflection where will review everything that has been taught and discuss what we can work on for the next session! During my sessions I also offer the child short sensory breaks to keep them engaged and focused on the session. These will NOT be a break but a quick 1-2 minute brain or movement break if required.
I am happy to do online sessions any day of the week and I am very flexible with timings. I completely understand that children get tired afterschool and can offer evening sessions or weekends too!
