My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I tutor AQA A-Level Biology and Chemistry, focusing on making challenging topics easier to understand and helping students feel more confident with the content.

Lessons can include clear explanations of key concepts, worked examples, exam-style questions and guidance on how to approach different question types. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and adapt my teaching depending on the areas they find most difficult. By finding their weaknesses I can focus my teaching on these areas to ensure they are perfected in time for the real exam so they can achieve them top grades. As well as this by using multiple methods such as diagrams and then basic wrote learn methods including active recall this can help my students learn and retain the knowledge critical for their exams and ensure they can recall it instantly with ease.

As I have recently completed sixth form and achieved top grades, I understand the demands of A-Levels and the importance of effective revision and exam technique. I can share the study methods and approaches that helped me achieve my own results. And hopefully through this advice they can use it and adapt their current methods to ensure maximum effectiveness and success to achieve the best result they hope for.

I mainly operate through Microsoft teams and use the screen share feature to teach and this allows me to draw diagrams and explain the content needed to understand and answer the questions effectively.
