In my lessons we will collaborate on questions you may find difficult or unobvious, discussing the techniques needed to achieve the answer, and talking through key concepts in maths that apply to that question. You will find that the next time you run into a similar question you know how to break down the problem into familiar steps that you can execute to find the answer!
Finally we will categorise the question in the context of the curriculum to find areas of weakness that we can focus on. I aim to show all students that maths isn't really that hard with the right understanding and execution. You will build the exam technique skills to find answers in timed pressure and we can practice the correct habits to make questions simple and exams easy :)
Learning will be fun in our sessions, I will always be excited to help you learn and I genuinely believe everyone can be great at maths.
I am open to guiding lessons to gauge your level of understanding with a certain topic, or to follow what you think you are unfamiliar with. Over time we can create lesson plans for structured teaching, alongside revision plans so you can organise your own practice effectively. I can also provided detailed, specific resources tailored to students needs - worksheets for homework, powerpoints to explain topics
