Sarim Tauqeer

I offer friendly and supportive Maths lessons for KS2 and KS3 students. My aim is to make maths feel easier and less stressful for the student by breaking everything down into easy to follow steps.

During lessons, I will focus on the areas where the student finds the most difficult and go through examples with them before giving them questions to try themselves. I can help with topics such as fractions, percentages, decimals, multiplication, division, basic algebra, problem solving and even their homework. I understand that different students learn at different speeds, so I am happy to slow things down, repeat explanations and try different methods if something is not making sense. I will say to the students time and time again for them to ask questions as many times as they want as I don't want them to feel confused or get anything wrong.

My online lessons will usually involve me explaining a topic, going through examples together and then practice questions to check their understanding. I can also go through their homework if they are struggling with anything.

My goal is to give affordable and quality Maths support for your child whilst also helping them become more confident and independent with their work. I also want my lessons to be a peaceful environment for my student so they do not feel pressured or embarrassed if they make any mistakes. I will be more than happy to explain things more than once. Most importantly, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling more confident in maths.
