I am a motivated and academically driven A-level student with hands-on experience supporting students across both primary and secondary education. During my work experience placement as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, I worked closely with Year 4 pupils, including providing one-to-one support for SEN students. This taught me how to adapt explanations, break tasks into manageable steps, and create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I also developed patience, empathy, and the ability to recognise different learning needs.

As a STEM Ambassador, I worked with Year 9 students in science lessons, helping them understand key concepts and supporting practical activities. This experience strengthened my communication skills and my ability to make challenging content engaging and accessible. Additionally, I supported a Year 10 English class, offering guidance on essay writing, comprehension, and exam technique. Alongside this, I have experience tutoring my younger cousins overseas online, which helped me become confident in delivering lessons virtually and maintaining student engagement remotely.

My teaching approach is structured, clear, and student-focused. I begin by identifying a student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then explain concepts in simple, relatable ways. I use practice questions, active recall, and exam-style tasks to reinforce understanding. I adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles, ensuring each student progresses at a comfortable pace. Most importantly, I aim to build confidence, motivation, and independent learning skills so students can achieve their full academic potential.
