About me

After working with older people and then families going through trauma I now volunteer teaching horse riding to students with physical difficulties and Learning Disability and also students with autism, ADHD and associated behaviour struggles. I absolutely love it! I also love being part of a team of people from all walks of life that come together to facilitate the sessions.

Life coach sessions will be based around the student’s needs, desires and priorities. Although the aim and objectives are serious I’m quite upbeat and like to look for the positives in both people and situations.
I hate box ticking and dry question and answer sessions and would rather have a conversation or discussion to reach goals. Students should leave our time together feeling more confident, organised and oriented, able to manage their workload and time.
My experience comes from having been around a reasonable amount of time, managing and training volunteers and staff, being involved in my niece and nephews’ university progress and having brought up my daughters. My personal life has exposed and educated me in various mental health issues and social problems and I feel I’m a better person for it.
I coach and teach but find myself more of an advocate, working forward together with the student.
