About me

After many years of experience teaching and tutoring science, I like to get a good understanding of which area my students need help with, whether it be subject knowledge or exam technique. It is essential to establish this immediately so that the correct help can be delivered to the student and therefore, they feel they are making progress. Remember, the goal is not instant and will take persist...
After many years of experience teaching and tutoring science, I like to get a good understanding of which area my students need help with, whether it be subject knowledge or exam technique. It is essential to establish this immediately so that the correct help can be delivered to the student and therefore, they feel they are making progress. Remember, the goal is not instant and will take persistence, but with the correct kind of support each student will reach their goal.
I can change my teaching strategy to suit students who struggle with science to students to want to be pushed further in science into an advanced level.
I have taught GCSE science, IBMYP science A Level Biology and IBDP Biology. This means I can switch between solid knowledge and understanding and inquiry based learning.
I also have a criminal background check, however, it is in German as this is the country I last taught in.
