Sarah Maxey

I’m a passionate and experienced online tutor dedicated to helping children grow in confidence and achieve their full potential. With over 26 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a wide range of learners, each with their own unique strengths and challenges. My approach is warm, patient, and tailored to every child, ensuring they feel comfortable, understood, and motivated to succeed.
I specialise in working with children from EYFS through to Year 6, and I’m fully DBS certified for peace of mind. I also have extensive training as a SEND specialist, supporting learners with ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and developmental coordination difficulties. I believe that every child can thrive with the right support, encouragement, and strategies in place.
My sessions are engaging, structured, and adapted to suit individual learning styles. I offer support across core subjects including Maths, English, and SPAG, as well as targeted preparation for Year 6 SATs and 11 Plus exams. Whether your child needs help building foundations, boosting confidence, or preparing for assessments, I aim to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
I provide one-to-one online tutoring and coaching, with flexible 30 or 45-minute sessions available Monday to Saturday. I also offer guidance with homework and ongoing learning support.
