Sarah Jayne Meyer

I mainly use online platforms, Teams or Zoom preferred. Lessons will be individually tailored to your needs with a mix of discussion, slides and videos and where required handouts to take away. In-person lessons will follow a similar format in a mutually convenient location. Sessions will have a relaxed feel where any question can be asked and we can review content as many times as required.

I am currently an MSc student at the University of Stirling studying Psychological Research Methods and I hold a first-class honours degree in Psychology from the Open University. My academic and professional interests centre around developmental psychology, play, children’s rights, and disability inclusion.

With six years’ experience in mainstream and specialist education, my background also includes roles as a play and forest school assistant. I previously enjoyed 14 years in a successful sales and marketing before choosing to career change. I am a passionate advocate for child development, children's rights and adventurous play and I bring both professional insight and personal commitment as a mother to my work.

I am currently developing a PhD proposal that explores the self-report experiences and voices of disabled and neurodivergent children in adventurous play.
