Hello! My name is Andrew, and I am a postgraduate student studying Sports Psychology at the University of Stirling. Originally from America, I graduated summa cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2025. I have significant literature background in developmental psychology, cultural psychology, epistemology, ontology, and cognitive neuroscience. Whatever level of Psychology you are studying, I am optimistic that I can contribute positively to your learning and performance!
My teaching style is generally flexible and unstructured. I have a background in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), which is utilized to help clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder reach their goals in behavioral management and life skills. Part of this style of learning is a naturalistic approach - in other words, looking for organic and spontaneous opportunities to develop understanding and reinforce progression. I believe that the knowledge you can bring to the table in conversation is much more indicative of where you are in your learning than pre-rehearsed, memorized information. If you can come to me with what you know, what you want to know, and what interests you most about it, I can show you how to repackage the new information in a way that is effective not just for retainment, but flexible and quick recall.
