Sarah Harman Harman

I have taught across KS1 and KS2 in both state and independent schools and currently work part-time as a primary school teacher in a local school, which is rated Outstanding by Ofsted. I have an excellent understanding of the current primary curriculum and what children are expected to achieve at each stage. I have particular experience preparing children for the 7+ and Year 6 SATs, as well as supporting children who may have lost confidence or found certain areas of school difficult. I love helping children to feel more confident in themselves and seeing that moment when something suddenly clicks. I can support children to consolidate their learning, fill gaps in their knowledge or provide extra challenge when they are ready for it. I also have lots of experience supporting children with dyslexia, ADHD, autism and PDA profiles, adapting my teaching to suit each child. I take time to get to know every child and make sure they feel comfortable, supported and successful. I have an Enhanced DBS and above all, I want children to enjoy learning and leave each lesson feeling proud of what they have achieved.
