My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I begin by identifying the student’s current level and any specific gaps in understanding, then build a clear and focused learning plan around their goals—whether that is improving confidence, mastering difficult topics, or preparing for exams.

Each session typically follows a clear structure: a short recap of prior learning, focused teaching of a key topic, guided practice together, and independent questions to reinforce understanding. I place strong emphasis on active learning, encouraging students to explain concepts back in their own words so they can build real understanding rather than memorisation.

As a BSc Pharmacology student at King’s College London, I have developed a strong foundation in Biology and Chemistry, and I understand how to break down complex scientific ideas into simple, logical steps. Through peer mentoring, I have supported students by adapting explanations to different learning styles and helping them build confidence in tackling challenging material.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I use real-life examples, exam-style questions, and step-by-step reasoning to help students connect theory with application. I also focus on exam technique, including how to interpret questions, structure answers, and avoid common mistakes.

Most importantly, I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that is where real progress happens. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to build long-term confidence and independent learning skills.
