My teaching approach is structured and academically rigorous, with lessons planned to meet the specific requirements of each student and the relevant exam specification. I begin by identifying a student’s current level of understanding and then present topics in a clear, logical sequence, ensuring that key principles are well understood before moving on to more complex applications. Lessons focus on developing strong problem-solving skills, accurate scientific reasoning, and effective exam technique, with regular questioning used to check understanding and address misconceptions. I have experience teaching both GCSE and A Level Chemistry and Physics, which has given me a solid understanding of curriculum content and assessment expectations.
Alongside my teaching experience, I am a second-year Chemical Engineering student, and modules such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mass and Heat Transfer, Particle Separation, and Reaction Engineering allow me to explain the rudimentary concepts with technical depth and relate abstract theory to practical scientific and engineering contexts for Physics and Chemistry.
