I am a friendly tutor who likes to run interactive sessions! My sessions will require you to engage with me, explain what may be difficult or challenging for you and ask me any questions.

I have a Maths degree and I have tutored individuals in one to one sessions over the years and I can provide references.

I offer remote sessions however, I can do face to face sessions if you are a short drive away.

The format of my lessons are:

1. Assess topics to support with: I will identify what topics you are finding more challenging and difficult.

2. Assess knowledge of topic: I will assess your basic knowledge of that topic. You need to thoroughly understand the basic foundations of that topic first as this is essential to understand more advanced situations.

3. Talk through topics: Our sessions will involve talking through specific topics to explain and demonstrate the rules and theories. This may involve verbal and visual demonstrations, e.g. drawing diagrams and writing.

4. Questions: If you don't understand anything, you will be able to ask questions throughout our session.

5. Work through examples: Once you are comfortable with the theory, we will work through various examples together.

Please note for Exam Preparation:
If you're preparing for exams, we will work through exam questions you are struggling with. If you need to recap certain topics, we can follow the above format.
We will also recap and summarise the theories for each topic and practice exam questions.
