My lessons are personalised, engaging, and focused on building confidence in using Spanish in real-life situations. I tailor every session to suit each student’s level, goals, and learning style, whether you're studying for an exam, preparing for a trip, or learning for fun.
I usually start with a short chat or warm-up activity to ease into the session and review what we covered last time. From there, we move on to structured activities that focus on the skills you want to develop: speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, or cultural knowledge.
I like to use a mix of resources to keep lessons dynamic and interesting. For this I include audio clips, video materials, articles, role-play conversations, games, and translation exercises when suitable. For younger students or beginners, I make use of interactive exercises and visual aids to make learning enjoyable and accessible.
If you’re studying for GCSE, A-Level, or university exams, I can help you with exam strategies, past paper practice, and targeted grammar or vocabulary sessions.
Having a PGCE in Spanish with French and a Master’s in Translation Studies means I bring both teaching expertise and a deep understanding of language structure and cultural context to my lessons. I’ve been tutoring for over 3 years, and I’ve worked with students from a variety of ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.
Above all, I aim to create a friendly, supportive space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and progressing at their own pace.
