Sandhya Hanabar

I am a passionate and patient tutor with experience teaching students from different educational backgrounds, from complete beginners to university-level learners. I specialise in Python, Computer Science, Data Science, programming, mathematics and related technical subjects.

My lessons are friendly, interactive and completely adapted to the individual needs of each student. I believe that technical subjects become much easier when concepts are explained step by step using simple language and practical examples. Instead of focusing only on theory, I encourage students to understand why something works and then apply it themselves.

A typical lesson begins with a clear explanation of the topic, followed by worked examples that we solve together. Students then get the opportunity to practise independently with my guidance. For programming lessons, I use practical coding exercises and problem-solving activities so students can develop confidence in writing and understanding code. For mathematics and theoretical topics, I break complex problems into smaller steps and explain the reasoning behind each solution.

I also help students with university coursework, exam preparation, programming assignments, problem-solving skills and strengthening their understanding of difficult concepts. I am happy to work with students who are starting from scratch as well as those who want to improve their existing knowledge.

Most importantly, I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. My goal is not simply to provide answers, but to help students develop the confidence and skills to solve problems independently.
