My lessons are friendly and focused on helping you understand chemistry rather than memorise it. I begin by identifying the areas you find difficult and then explain the topic step by step in a way that is easy to follow.
I use worked examples throughout the lesson because I believe the best way to learn chemistry is by applying what you have learned. We will practise exam style questions together and I will show you how to approach them confidently. As your understanding improves you will become more independent in solving problems.
I study Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Manchester Metropolitan University and consistently achieve first class grades across my modules. I have a strong understanding of organic chemistry analytical chemistry physical chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry. For example I achieved 93 out of 100 in a university carbonyl chemistry examination.
Lessons are tailored to your goals whether you need help with school chemistry A level chemistry or specific topics. I am patient and happy to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where you feel confident asking questions and making mistakes because that is an important part of learning. By the end of each lesson you will have a clearer understanding of the topic and practical strategies that you can use in exams and future studies.
