When it comes to teaching one to one I look to help the individual, creating lessons that are both engaging but also targeted at the level of the learner. I believe in developing confidence above all else and so i am always prepared to adapt to the individual I am teaching to give them the best experience. Whether I am home-schooling or helping to support their school work, I am there for the pupil and i tailor my teaching and lessons to them.
I have taught for over 20 years in various schools and children of all ages. I appreciate different needs and I aim to help children improve at their own pace. I have used various methods to teach, whether it be formal lessons, or creating and incorporating games so that my clients don't even think that they are learning.
I have prepared pupils for the Kent Test, GCSE's and I have worked with children with and without EHCPs. I respect each individual's needs and work with them to help them develop their potential.
