My initial lesson with a student will include understanding their learning style, doing questions to identify areas of weakness and just generally bonding with the students. From there on I will make personalised lesson plans that suit the students learning style and working on areas of weakness. This includes doing exam style questions, going over answers and making sure they understand the knowledge needed to answer the specific questions. As a tutor I can provide revision material such as cheat sheets for certain topics and flashcards, which students can use for active recall outside of the lesson.
