I received A* for GCSCE English language and literature student. I also received an A for English literature for A-levels

I am currently a final year psychology student in university.

I have worked in nurseries and tutored children of various ages in core subjects.

The tutoring lessons wont feel like a lesson. I grew up loving English because I found so much joy in it. The discussions and debates we’d have as a class led to competing to achieve the best grades and we all aimed high. I went from a C grade student to an A* student in English. This was mainly because of my amazing secondary school English teacher who taught with so much passion and understanding. The lessons felt so easy it became fun!

Organisation is key to learning and I will help you with that as well as being prepared for exams. Flash cards and detailed annotations of the books and poems you study are also very useful when it comes to revision.

I feel as though online tutoring would allow students to feel more comfortable and more at ease while learning. Face to face can be quite intimidating and nerve wracking and I want to bring out their best abilities and hidden talents for writing. After GCSEs I wanted to peruse a writing career because I felt inspired and I wanted to be creative.

Students are more than welcome to confide in me about anything they are struggling with weather it is related to the English subject or not.
