I’m a self-employed tutor with 2 years of experience teaching Maths and English to children in London through engaging in-person lessons. I tailor every session to each child’s level and learning style, using praise, encouragement, and fun incentives like stickers to keep motivation high. My lessons are interactive and imaginative. For English, I include creative tasks like poem-making, where students choose their own themes. This boosts creativity and helps them practise nouns, verbs, and adjectives in a fun way. I make sure they read in every session and complete comprehension questions to build strong literacy skills. In Maths, I use visual aids like colourful fraction pizzas or number lines to help explain tricky concepts. I also create weekly assessments to refresh their memory and identify any gaps, so they always feel supported and make steady progress.
