I believe in the power of doing. In my lessons, I would like students to learn by doing, via live demos, assisted coding, and actually exploring real-life codebases to ensure that the skills learned are transferable to the real world. I can understand that coding and mathematics are daunting subjects for school students, as I was also a school student not too long ago! But, I also know that with the right approach to teaching with a blend of examples, presentations, reading, and relatable analogies, it doesn't have to be hard! My main aim for these lessons is to make people appreciate how math and code can work together to solve problems, while also learning strategies for giving exams and preparing for further studies within this field. I can imagine my lessons being both focused on the course content and also exploring the applications and developments in technology in industry, because ultimately building interest in the subject is the first step towards success! Even if one is a complete beginner or a seasoned professional, this class would be the perfect blend of building interest, succeeding academically, and, most importantly, having fun! A formal structure and lecture slides are what kill interest. I want students to be able to log in and follow a plan based on their preferences and interests, where I'll just be guiding them to achieve what they want!
