My lessons are creative, and tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I like to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and building confidence in their own style. Whether a student wants help with drawing, painting, mixed media, or developing a portfolio, I adapt the session to suit their level and interests.

I usually begin by understanding what the student wants to achieve, then I structure the lesson around a clear focus such as technique, composition, colour, observation, or creative idea development. I give step-by-step guidance when needed, but I also encourage independence so students learn how to think creatively for themselves. My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and practical, with a strong emphasis on positive feedback and steady progress.

Alongside my art experience, I have worked in nursery and school settings supporting children’s creativity, which has helped me develop patience, clear communication, and the ability to make learning engaging and age-appropriate. I enjoy helping students of different ages discover their strengths and feel proud of what they create. My aim is always to make lessons enjoyable, inspiring, and productive, while helping each student grow in skill, confidence, and creative expression.

I also aim to make each lesson practical and engaging, with activities that build confidence as well as technique. Depending on the student’s needs, I can support homework, coursework, creative projects, or independent practice, always keeping the lesson focused and easy to follow. My goal is to help students enjoy art, develop their skills step by step, and leave each session feeling encouraged, inspired, and proud of their progress.
