I like to inspire and encourage students
Making learning fun and memorable. I draw , use slide show, ( not death by PowerPoint)
Laughter is important as I teach difficult topics from childhood abuse through to adult trauma .
I have worked In a prison , rehab programme and I. Human trafficking . I have facilitated groups to help students understand why they act or feel the way they do .
If it’s trauma related , I teach it .
Anxiety , depression are survival instincts .
My favourite thing is to engage with those students who want to make a change in this world .
From the cycle of abuse , why perpetrators do the acts they do, why we suffer with mental health are all subjects I’m passionate about .
I have personal experiences of trauma , as I believe most of us do . Talking is crucial, being non judgemental, listening and believing are all very important to helping someone find emotional freedom. Let’s do this journey and learn from each other . Let’s pay forward life and learning to those people who have not found peace and freedom yet
