With over 20 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, I bring a wealth of real-world clinical knowledge from a wide range of settings including A&E, GP Practice, Minor Injuries, Urgent Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Lifeboat services, film sets, international research, school nursing, special educational needs, teaching, medical technology, sales, marketing, coaching and mental health. This broad experience allows me to provide practical, relevant and realistic learning that goes far beyond textbooks alone and gives students insight into real-life situations, decision-making and professional practice.

I also hold specialist qualifications in Emergency Care, Minor Illness & Injuries, Practice Nursing and Mentoring, alongside additional training in Counselling Skills and Self-Harm & Suicide Prevention and Management. Throughout my career, I have worked alongside clinicians from across the world and taught hundreds of both adults and children from a variety of backgrounds, abilities and levels of confidence.

My teaching style focuses not only on helping you achieve your academic or professional goals, but also on helping you grow in confidence and feel empowered in your own abilities. I am deeply passionate about making education inclusive, inspiring and transformative, ensuring every learner feels heard, supported and capable of succeeding. I strongly believe that nobody should feel powerless when it comes to learning, developing new skills or reaching their full potential and my aim is to help you unlock exactly that in a way that feels motivating, encouraging and achievable.
