My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether they are studying Economics or Business at IB or A-Level. I begin by identifying the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then create a clear plan to build both subject understanding and exam performance.

In each session, I combine clear explanations with active practice. This includes breaking down complex theories, applying them to real-world examples, and working through exam-style questions. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique — helping students structure high-quality essays, analyse case studies or data effectively, and develop strong evaluation skills, which are essential for achieving top grades.

Having studied IBDP, I understand the demands of both Economics and Business courses, including internal assessments, HL content, and mark scheme expectations. I also adapt lessons to suit different A-Level exam boards, ensuring students are fully prepared for their specific exams.

Lessons are interactive and student-focused. I encourage discussion, questions, and critical thinking rather than passive learning. I can also provide feedback, model answers, and targeted practice after lessons to reinforce progress.

My aim is to help students not only improve their grades, but also gain confidence and a clear understanding of how to approach exams effectively.
