I mainly focus on setting questions and tasks to further understanding as I think doing is key to learning. I look at the syllabus to see what is appropriate to ask. I can go through answers step by step and making sure every step is understood fully. Studying Mathematics at the University of Warwick has shown me that the method of learning is crucial and that reliable small lessons are much more effective. I believe that if you fully understand something then you should be able to teach it so my students should be able to teach someone else what they have learnt by the end. This is also an excellent way to retain knowledge. I share my screen so it is like a teacher with a virtual whiteboard.
