Experience:
- I have been a personal tutor for just over a year, specialising in Edexcel IGCSE Maths
- I studied maths through to university getting a 9 at GCSE, an A at A-level and a first class honours at University in Maths and Economics

My Lessons and how I teach:
I believe the key to mathematics is mistakes and practice so I base my lesson of past papers if the student has already covered the necessary topics. I then strongly suggest we both attempt the same question and compare answers, with the student learning from their own mistakes and my own. Along the way I explain key insights and take aways from the question helping the student see further into what they are doing. If a student is struggling we will repeat similar questions were I make small variations to help deepen their understanding in the topic.

With all my lessons my focus is enjoyment and practice. I tailor all my lessons to the tutee making sure they are comfortable and happy with the lessons we do together.
