I offer student-centred learning that allows the student to choose what subjects they wish to prioritise based on their own understanding of their gaps in knowledge. It allows them to recognise what they need to work on more and what they feel confident in, and allows me to also confirm this this.

History is often heavily based around recall, so base my lessons around being discussion focussed. I've found this creates an envrionment that allows the student to be more comfortable when thinking about and discussing historical topics with peers and teahers. Throughout the lesson i use inqiuriy based and reflective activities such as source analysis to improve skills for exam techniques.
