I like to build up a good rapport with each student. There must be a mutual understanding right from the beginning. A meet and greet session is very important... I focus very much on what the students need. I also make my lessons fun and interactive !!

It's important that each student is encouraged to feel confident whilst getting them to accomplish their studying and have fun at the same time. Otherwise progress will be slow ... I try to always be encouraging and I always give praise for good work.

If there is a struggle to learn I take things back a step so that moving forward isn't so daunting. I like students to tell me what they like doing or reading as it enthuses them.
