Salem Abodher

Experienced Arabic teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience in the UK and Libya. I teach Arabic to beginners, GCSE and A-Level students, university learners and adults.
My lessons are personalised, structured and adapted to each student’s goals and level. I focus on speaking, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, Modern Standard Arabic and exam preparation.
I have taught Arabic Language and Literature in Manchester and have also worked as a university lecturer. I hold a PhD in Higher Education Policy and Educational Planning from the University of Huddersfield.
I offer both online and in-person lessons in Manchester and surrounding areas.
I believe that learning Arabic should be practical, enjoyable and confidence-building. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and objectives, whether the goal is everyday communication, academic success, exam preparation or a deeper understanding of Arabic language and culture. I am patient, supportive and committed to helping students make clear and measurable progress. I can also provide regular feedback and structured learning plans to help students stay motivated and achieve their goals.
