Sajal Ahmed

I am an experienced tutor who has supported students in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, English, and Maths at the GCSE level. My teaching journey began with helping peers and younger students, and over time I developed a strong ability to explain challenging topics in a clear and approachable way. I believe that every student learns differently, and I always adapt my lessons to meet individual needs—whether it’s building foundational understanding, preparing for exams, or boosting confidence.

My lessons are interactive, structured, and student-centred. I begin each session by identifying the student’s goals and assessing their current level. From there, I develop a personalised plan that targets areas for improvement, reinforces strengths, and includes regular feedback. I use a range of techniques—from diagrams and active recall to exam-style questions—to keep students engaged and ensure deep understanding. I also focus on developing strong exam technique, time management, and critical thinking skills. I encourage students to ask questions, reflect on their progress, and take ownership of their learning so they can become more independent and confident learners.

As someone with a passion for education and a patient, encouraging approach, I aim to make students feel supported and motivated. I am currently studying medicine, which reflects my commitment to academic excellence and helping others succeed. My background gives me a strong grasp of the sciences and the ability to guide students through complex material with clarity and enthusiasm. I find it incredibly rewarding to witness a student’s progress and to be part of their academic journey.
