I have over a years worth of experience both in the classroom and online, in the first few weeks i use different methods of teaching to find which is the most suitable and efficient to the child’s abilities and then tailor the lessons to ensure the child’s understanding of the subject. After finding their weak points within the subject, once i believe they have gained a sufficient amount of understanding an exam question is given for them to do both with help and then independently. Every 6-7 weeks on average (based on the child’s performance) we do an exam followed by an exemplary answer and the mark scheme to allow the child to understand where they can improve, we then do the exam question again which is written in a different format to ensure they have good knowledge of the topic and have shown improvement.
