Safaan Mohamed Ferous

As a Russell Group University law student, my objective is to tutor to help develop students' key skills, from primary school to KS3 level. I will deliver engaging, encouraged lessons that adapt to meet the needs of the student.

For Primary students, my lessons will help building confidence especially in core skills such as reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension, aiming to improve understanding of the subject and widening students' vocabulary. I prioritise engagement and enjoyability as it will help students' sustained focus, which keeps learning interesting and educational through interactive tasks and structured activities that help children make steady progress.

As for KS3, my approach to help students is further enhanced by helping students with developing their written techniques and capabilities, along with particular focus on improving analytical abilities- a key foundation of the subject. This includes supporting students better structuring of their thoughts into writing, expansion of their language, and practicing answering a range of questions, preparing students' exam technique and help get ready for their upcoming GCSE years.

Regarding my own academic background, I achieved 7-9 across all of my GCSE subjects, and after received straight A's in my A-Level English literature, Economics, and Geography. As someone who finished my own exams relatively recently, I understand the challenges that students encounter and how to overcome them.
