My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and focused on helping students feel comfortable using English in real situations. I believe students learn better when they can speak, ask questions, and make mistakes without feeling under pressure.
I like to understand what each student wants to achieve before planning lessons. Some students may want to improve everyday conversation, while others may need help with pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, writing, or speaking for work and study. I adapt the lesson around their level and goals rather than using exactly the same approach for everyone.
A typical lesson may include a short conversation to practise speaking, followed by useful vocabulary or grammar, and then practical exercises based on everyday situations. I also encourage students to speak as much as possible, because regular conversation is one of the best ways to build confidence.
I have a background in Business Management and professional experience in customer service, retail management, mentoring, training, and working with people from different backgrounds. I am also currently completing a PhD at the University of South Wales, which has developed my academic writing, research, and communication skills.
My aim is to make every lesson useful and enjoyable, while helping students gradually become more confident and independent English speakers.
