I will present my tutoring services through a professional and visually engaging PowerPoint presentation. I will keep students engaged by solving questions with them and explaining each step clearly whilst also allowing the student to attempt questions by themseles to gain a sense of their understanding. This will help students build confidence, improve their skills, and feel more prepared for their exams. My PowerPoint includes useful tips and techniques that I learned from my own GCSE teachers. For English Language and English Literature, I use model essays, essay structures, and exam techniques that helped me understand how to achieve higher marks. For Mathematics, I include practice questions, step-by-step methods, and problem-solving strategies to help students improve their confidence and accuracy. These resources are based on what I found most helpful during my GCSEs and are designed to help students prepare effectively for their exams. My tutoring sessions are one-to-one, which means each lesson is focused entirely on one student. This allows me to adapt the lesson to their learning style, work at their pace, and spend extra time on any topics they find difficult. Students can ask questions freely without feeling rushed, and I can provide personalised support, feedback, and guidance throughout every session. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I understand the topics that many students struggle with because I faced the same challenges myself. I know which revision methods, exam techniques, and study tips were most helpful, as well as the mistakes I would avoid if I were taking my GCSEs again.
