I am a TEFL qualified tutor and am able to teach English grammar, conversational English and Business English. I encourage a conversational lesson as I believe English is learnt best through real life practice. However, I tailor every lesson to the individual needs of my students and ensure that they are always comfortable with the lesson plan.

I usually begin the lesson by laying out the topics that would be covered and how briefly discuss the activities that would be carried out. I then give the student the opportunity to voice any questions or concerns and thereafter make any necessary adjustments to the lesson plan. I encourage a friendly, comfortable classroom experience as I believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable experience.

In terms of lesson content, I discuss with the student at the very beginning of our journey as to what their goals are. I also carry out some self-assessments and make recommendations. Weekly check-ins are carried out to ensure student satisfaction as well providing me with the opportunity to make adjustments to lesson plans and overall goals.
