Saagarika Sharma

As a qualified dentist, current PhD researcher, and graduate of a Master’s in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Management from Barcelona, Spain, I bring a well-rounded understanding of biology from clinical, academic, and industry perspectives. My lessons are interactive, student focused, and tailored to suit individual learning needs. Whether the goal is exam preparation, concept clarity, or improving coursework, I ensure that each session is engaging and effective.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material to reinforce retention, followed by a clear and structured explanation of new topics. I use visual aids, real-life examples, and active learning techniques such as quizzes and problem-solving activities to help students understand and apply biological concepts with confidence. At the end of each session, I provide a summary along with personalised revision strategies and additional resources.

I have experience teaching biology, biomedical science, and health sciences to students at various levels, including GCSE, A-level, foundation, and undergraduate. As a lecturer and module coordinator at a UK university, I have designed and delivered full modules, including creating the NHS and Social Care Operations module for nursing students. I also currently teach biomedical science and biology both online and in person.
