My maths lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I work with students from Year 1 to Year 7, helping them build strong foundations in numeracy, problem-solving, and confidence.

Each lesson typically includes:

• Warm-up activity – Quick mental maths or revision questions to build confidence
• Clear explanation of the topic – Step-by-step teaching using simple language
• Guided practice – Working through examples together
• Independent practice – Short tasks to check understanding
• Review and feedback – Encouraging reflection and celebrating progress

I make lessons interactive and supportive, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to help children truly understand maths and enjoy learning.

My Experience & Background

I am currently studying Level 2 BTEC Applied Science at Barnet and Southgate College, and I previously completed Level 2 Childcare & Education, which included English and Maths. I also completed my GCSEs at St Mary’s & St John’s CofE School, including Mathematics and Science.

Through my role as a School Ambassador, I organised clubs, supported younger students, and delivered presentations — helping me develop strong communication and mentoring skills. I have experience guiding and supporting children in academic and group settings.

As a trainee at Organisation of Young Africans (OYA), I supported youth programmes and workshops, which strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and ability to work positively with young people.
