Teaching Style
My lessons are heavily tailored around the student: focusing on the areas of a subject they struggle with. I like to teach adaptably: some students learn visually whilst others learn more effectively through examples. For every student, I ensure to understand these differences: allowing them to thrive during my classes - growing in confidence, learning at a fast pace whilst enjoying the process!
A central part of my lessons is answering questions to ensure the concepts taught are fully understood and deepen understanding. Additionally, I like to ask open - ended questions 'why have you taken this approach?' and ask the student to talk me through the process they have taken. Through this, I am able to identify the specific area the student misunderstands and correct accordingly.
I see teaching as a collaborative effort: working alongside the student to help them excel and fulfil their potential!
Key Qualities
- Adaptability
- Communication
- Cover a wide array of Subjects (English, Mathematics, French, Chemistry, Physics, Biology)
