Ruzhica Lukikj Kuzmanovska

I studied Faculty of Italian language and literature in Skopje, Macedonia. I went many times in Italy from North to South and experienced the culture, architecture, music, food, fashion, cinematography etc.
In my lessons I share stories from my visits in Italy and the students find them very interesting. To get better into the language, in my lessons I always include songs and famous film from the Italian cinema.
With my students I often organized Italian dinners in special Italian restaurants, to taste Italian food, we often prepare coffee in the classroom, just to see and to try the Italian tastes. I usually explain dinning habits and the ritual of drinking coffee in certain occasion.
Also, it’s important for me what the student wants to learn from Italian culture. If somebody is interested to have more texts or article about sport, tourism, food or music, we are working around those topics.
My lesson is interactive involving Italian music, jokes, food, gesticulation.
Language is not just what we learn at school or from a book. It is a live matter that is changing all the time.
